C-Novel Review: Hidden Marriage (隐婚100分：惹火娇妻嫁一送一)

Hi everyone, the weekend is finally here!

Apologies for those readers out there whom have been waiting for our post this week. It has indeed been a hectic week for all of us. Mhryu finally completed her project, and is ready to close this chapter and would be starting on a new chapter next week. Wish me all the best ya…. excited and nervous at the same time. With this new chapter, hopefully, would be able to find time to spend more time on translation and reading 🙂

Tinkerbellsan in the meantime, as mentioned previously, had her laptop admitted into ‘ICU’. It is with regrets that the laptop is still in ‘ICU’ so her translation had to take a break at the moment.

While Arra are very busy with her work, so let us bear with her for a while. Once she is able to find time (while making sure that she take enough rest in between), she would be back.

So that summaries all what is happening to us. Thank you so much for your patience in the meantime. 

Now, today, I would like to introduce my latest read that I truly enjoyed and finding it hard to put it down at the moment. Reading at any possible spare moment, even if it is only 5 minutes… This is how addictive is this novel.

Full Marks Hidden Marriage: Pick Up a Son, Get a Free Husband (隐婚100分：惹火娇妻嫁一送一) is penned by  Jiong Jiong You Yao (囧囧有妖). Till date, the novel is still un-complete.

After five years, Ning Xi has returned and is out to take revenge on the sister who turned her parents against her, and the childhood sweetheart who betrayed her for her sister. She aims to fulfill her childhood dream and become a famous actress. However, her sister is still out to get her and she has to avoid all her underhanded schemes.

One day, after falling into one of her sister’s schemes, she meets an adorable little bun and saves him. His father then offers to repay her with his body: “Marry me.”

“Boss, you’re really giving the company to Madam to play with? You won’t bother even if Madam wants to sell the company?”

“Is it your family’s company being sold?”

“Eldest young master, this isn’t good! Madam wants to tear the roof down!”

“Well, why aren’t you going to get a ladder for Madam?”

“Daddy, thank you for the big bear you gave to Xiao Bao!”

“I bought that for your mother.”

“Husband, I really like this script, but there may be a few bed scenes, can I take this?”

Lu Tingxiao looked calm: “Sure.”

That evening, Ning Xi clutched her aching waist as she climbed out of bed. Lu Tingxiao!! Sure your uncle!!

And this is my short review of Full Marks Hidden Marriage: Pick Up a Son, Get a Free Husband (隐婚100分：惹火娇妻嫁一送一):

A truly entertaining novel, Full Marks Hidden Marriage: Pick Up a Son, Get a Free Husband (隐婚100分：惹火娇妻嫁一送一) is a novel about Ning Xi, a talented actress whom had to go through a tough life. She got pregnant 5 years ago when she was drunk (a plot by her evil ‘sister’). While she thought that the father of her child was someone whom she had loved almost her entire life, it was shocking when she found out late into her pregnancy that the child belongs to someone unknown to her. This shocking finding resulted in her delivering the baby prematurely. To make matter worst, the baby died.

To hide her away as she was a disgrace to her family, she was sent abroad. She return home 5 years later only to have her life continued to be bullied by her ‘evil’ sister whom is also a popular actress.

Fate as it bring her to her true love, she met with a cute little bun, Xiao Bao whom she saved. And this little bun, became attached to her.

Little bun’s father, Lu Ting Xiao, is a cold, smart and good looking man. 5 years ago, his concerned family members got him drunk and pushed him into the arm of a woman. This resulted in the birth of Xiao Bao although the mother identity were unknown.

Lu Ting Xiao fell in love with Ning Xi and in return to thank her for saving Little bun, he proposed marriage to her which was rejected.

Thanks to little bun, both Ning Xi and Lu Ting Xiao had numerous encounters which later brought them closer. Lu Ting Xiao, as cold as he is, remains protective over Ning Xi and rescued her over and over again from many attempts to slander or hurt her.

I have only read to the chapter where now Lu Ting Xiao and Ning Xi are finally dating. Lu Ting Xiao was over the moon when Ning Xi finally agreed to date him. There are never smooth sailing relationship when one is dating someone so smart, cool and handsome who also is the chairman of a large organization. To make matter worst, his family aka parents cannot accept Ning Xi.

What I like about this novel is how Jiong Jiong You Yao are able to write so clearly that the reader are actually able to envision the emotions that each one of them went through.
