Today, we are taking a break from the novel post.

We, here from Tinkerbellsan team would like to wish every one, A Blessed Easter.

Easter is a Christian celebration to mark the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ after he was crucified. Easter is an important date celebrated by Christian worldwide to mark the foundation of the Christian Faith.

The bible says that, Jesus, the son of God whom was born to Virgin Mary on December 25 (Christmas Celebration – also known as the birth of Chris) died for everyone’s wrong-doings and the redemption of the sins on Good Friday.

Jesus Christ came back to life, three days later to defeat death and evil on what is widely celebrated as Easter Day today.

Happy Sunday! Hope that everyone is doing well and healthy. Half of 2020 have flown by. We are now in the 2nd half of 2020. It have been a bumpy start of the year for most of us here in Asia while over the past months it have been tough and worrisome worldwide. Pray that this will comes to an end soon.

Come June 10, it would be exactly 4 months since I have gone into isolation. Started with my returning back to Asia after 2 weeks of exploration to America and Latin America. While I had indeed missed spending time with my friends, the isolation period have made me realised how fragile life can be. It have also make me think of the priorities in life.

Surprise! Happy to see the new chapter today being posted?

3 years ago, when I first took up the offer for a Work From Home role, many people who heard about it was very envious. Constantly, I have people coming to tell me how lucky I am… how it is so nice to be WFH. What people refused to believe when I shared the experience of WFH where workload is actually much more than working in the office environment. 

The situation today almost worldwide had given people the chance of first hand experience with WFH. Today, people understand the struggling of keeping the work life balance when working from home. 

Work have been crazily busy especially over the past weeks. It have been stressful as well. So I actually took my annual leave once a week to have a little bit of ‘Me’ time. So today, my ‘Me’ time involve translation of this chapter for everyone.

Chapter 3 – Castle in the Time (Time City) 时光之城 by 皎皎 Jiao Jiao

Time flies. It is already the end of week 1 in April. And where I am, it is the end of week 3 of our Movement Control Order (MCO). For now, we have another week to go but my feel based on the current situation, we might get it extended further. Haiz.

We are back with Chapter 3 today. The ending of today’s part makes me wished to quickly move to the next chapter. Getting exciting… Hahaha.

Here, where I am currently, our Movement Control Order (MCO) have been extended another 2 weeks. And in some of the areas, they have already imposed Extensive Movement Control Order (EMCO). Haiz…. and still people don’t take it seriously.

Chapter 1.1 – Castle in the Time (Time City) 时光之城 by 皎皎 Jiao Jiao

Hi everyone. Surprise! Indeed… mhryu is back for now… 

It is the 5th day of MCO here where I am located. With the restriction in place and everyone playing their part, my activities over the past 2 days were reading novels, cook for meals… read and then I decided to pick up translation. Trust me, it can be frustrating as there are many people in the country not taking this seriously. While for me, it is frustrating as I just came out of self-quarantine period of 3 weeks (2 weeks and then I was ill so I decided to take extra precaution and took additional 1 week to continue my self-quarantine) just not too long ago after I returned after spending 16 days travelling around US, Cuba and Mexico in January / February 2020. I had to go back into quarantine again just less than 2 weeks after I came out of quarantine. So, one can imagine how I am feeling. 

While I am not sure how persistant I would be in getting this novel translated and completed within the year, I hope with the reduce in my workload (hopefully) with the current situation, I would be able to find the time. Of course it would also depend if my fella readers would like to read this novel.

Happy International Women’s Day to all the wonderful women out there! 

Today is the final chapter of this exciting read. So I decided that it would be a super long one as I would not be breaking up the chapter. 

This is also my final post for now I guess. As everyone is aware, it has been extremely hard for me to find the time to do translation even to read novels online. So, I have decided to take the break from online translation for now. Never know, one day I might be back once I managed to stockpile and find a lovely novel to read.
