Still in my re-watching old drama mood, I went back to re-watch The Queen of SOP (胜女的代价), only this time round, it took me only 3 days to binge through the episodes (I skip the parts where I don’t like and only concentrating on the three main character that I liked.
Once again, I got attracted to the lovely ending OST and I sat down to watch the drama that my husband is currently hooked on. This leads to me starting to watch the gripping story of top-secret Chinese Intelligence agency named Unit 701.
Decoded (解密) is a novel of the same name written by the Chinese Author, Mai Jai. This debut novel of Mai Jai reveals the mysterious world of a top-secret Chinese Intelligence agency in the world of code breaking. Continue reading “C-Drama Review: Decoded (解密)”
And so, I finally managed to watch the final episode of Love & Life & Lie (遇见爱情的利先生). I had indeed search high and low for it online….. eager to watch the ending.

I discover Love & Life & Lie (遇见爱情的利先生) by accident when I was browsing for dramas to catch up recently when I finally got my break over the Lunar New Year vacation.
Love & Life & Lie (遇见爱情的利先生) is another drama adaption from a Chinese Novel, Glass Slipper by Zheng Yuan. Honestly, I have not read the novel yet so I don’t know how the drama is faring against the novel. Maybe after I have completed all my other novel translations, if no one picks up this novel, I might pick it up. Continue reading “C-Drama Review: Love & Life & Lie (遇见爱情的利先生)”
It is back to Drama-land for me recently. Guess, watching drama is not as tiring as translation.
After finishing Cunning Single Lady (앙큼한 돌싱녀), I started re-watching another of my old favorite drama. Well, it is not entirely old as the drama finished airing on JZTV back in August 2015.

Thanks to tranzgeek review and announcement on A Slight Smile Is Devastating (微微一笑很倾城), I was anticipating eagerly for the drama to be launch. This lovely C-Novel by one of my favorite author, Gu Man initially was a little hard for me to understand as it is a novel about online gaming and the sweet story of Xiao Nai, the male lead and Bei Wei Wei, the female lead, however after reading it for the 2nd time, I finally could grasp my way around the novel. In conclusion, I loved the drama. After all, with Godfrey Gao as the male lead and fantastic acting, this fan-girl had truly enjoyed the drama. After years of anticipation, Remembering Li Chuan (遇见王沥川) is finally aired…. I was introduced to the translated novel version of this story, known as Li Chuan’s Past (沥川往事) by tinkerbellsan. And I got really hooked to the novel. Despite that it is pretty sad story with a good ending, I actually re-read the novel over 10 times from Li Chuan’s Past (沥川往事)
Thanks to Remembering Li Chuan Feature (Trailer and Book) posted by tranzgeek, I waited for days anticipating for the release of the drama.
