Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Year 2016 has flown by so quickly. It has been about 9 months since mhryu started translation of Caught in my Own Trap (作茧自缚). Being a first time translator, it had indeed been a lovely journey and learning curve. The translation started March 14 and finally completed October 22 with the completion of Epilogue 3, a story on another couple.

Tinkerbellsan then decided to try translation by started Boss’s Blind Date Notes (Boss相亲笔记), a funny and light read. Translating this novel, although the pace a slower, we had so much fun and laughter as we learn some funny chinese idioms. From time to time when both of us could meet up, the discussion about this novel kept us in stitches… We hope that all our readers are enjoying this novel to date and is anticipating the return of Xiao Bei and Yifan early 2017.

Finding Glowing Beauty in Books (书中自有颜如玉) had been fun translation. Unfortunately, when mhryu decided to return to the workforce back earlier this year, time does not permit her to translate as often as she wishes to be. Thank you for your patience. Hopefully Finding Glowing Beauty in Books (书中自有颜如玉) would be able to return soon. So stay tune!

The main purpose of this blog is to share our love reading C-Novels. Both tinkerbellsan and mhryu actually could not read chinese. So we are listening to the audio and translating the novel as we are listening to them. The journey of translation have been both fun and enjoyable for us. And we hope that our readers and followers are enjoying them as much as we are enjoying translating.

We also share our thoughts on some of the dramas that we are watching. The discussions and comments are truly entertaining.

Thank you everyone for the months of support. We would not have gone this far without the support from all of you. Especially those whom had helped to us along the way (you know who you are).

Merry Christmas 2016!
