Happy Saturday everyone! A slight change to this week’s schedule unfortunately. Apologies for those whom are anticipating the return of Lan Ning and Yan Ru Yu aka Teacher Xing Xin today. Time did not allow me to translate the novel. So I decided to move up the post for next week scheduled for today.

There is not much of Zhong Lian Chen and Cheng Shao Rong today. Today, we will read about the interview done with Shao Gen Jin on his thoughts and what he knows about the OTP. And today, it will end with a light and funny incident with him. So enjoy the Saturday read! Should time permits, Lan Ning and Yan Ru Yu should be back tomorrow. Hopefully…. 🙂

A super short chapter today with only mentioned of Cheng Shao Rong. Today’s post is where we find out exactly what happen and why the letter to Zhong Lian Chen from Cheng Shao Rong was courier to her. 

I have to make this chapter short today only because there were a lot of gibberish which I decided to cut out. Only translating the part where it would make sense and has connections to the story of Zhong Lian Chen and Cheng Shao Rong.

Anyone anticipating the return of Xiao Bei and Yifan? They are finally back today after a week, right? As the novel is getting more and more exciting, it is indeed a long wait. Unfortunately, the translator for this novel, tinkerbellsan has a lot on her plate daily and there is only so much she would do. So let’s wait patiencely for each week’s scheduled post, okay?

Caught in my Own Trap (作茧自缚) : Epilogue 3, Part 28

Happy Tuesday everyone! Did your week started okay? 

This chapter today may be a little confusing. Suddenly, it seems like everything abruptly changed and it is not flowing from the last chapter yesterday. There were a lot more confusing in between text that I actually gave up translating as it is so unrelated to the entire story. 

What is in this chapter today is translated exactly how it is in the novel. So, I hope that it does make some sense to you all when you read it. Hopefully the chapter after tomorrow would be an easier to understand chapter.

With this, we are also nearing the end of Epilogue 3 (FINALLY! Yeah!). From what I see remaining from the original text in chinese, I think we should be able to finished these by end of next week. And then it is the final Epilogue 4 (pretty lengthy too but half of what Epilogue 3 are) before say the final goodbye to this novel.

The start of another week! How was your weekend? Mine was indeed well spent.

Ops…. Zhong Lian Chen is now brought home to her homeland. What a surprised that it is Cheng Shao Chen whom went to bring her home instead of Cheng Shao Rong. 

What happen next? Will she be sent home to her father as requested? Another ‘storm’ ahead?

Chapter 11.2 – Finding Glowing Beauty in Books (书中自有颜如玉)

Ops…. even Lan Ning’s mother is aware about how she is struggling to get the draft from her writers… the danger of the social media world isn’t it?

Anyone guess who actually came to ‘rescue’ Zhong Lian Chen? As how it is normally in any novel, it is definitely someone beyond our expectation, isn’t it? Sigh…. 

Rest be assured, the chapter today can be seem as pretty entertaining though…. So enjoy the read today! As per the scheduled we posted recently, Zhong Lian Chen will be back again on Monday. Hopefully by then, we will see the return of Cheng Shao Rong…
